BCI Marikina strives to help families develop Godly leaders with a goal of nurturing and inspiring individuals to be the best versions of themselves as God wants them to be.
We are God-Focused. We are a team of devoted Christians who are actively involved in various ministries of our own respective churches. Together, we fully embrace God’s Greatest Commandment in Deuteronomy 6:5, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.” Our commitment is to live out a life that is fully surrendered to God’s agenda.
We are Learner-Oriented. BCI Marikina’s onsite, online, and homeschool programs are set up to intentionally guide our students towards independent and critical thinking while equipping them with 21st century skills. To build resilience in their learnings at this time, we endeavor to address the uniqueness of each child and focus on developing socio-emotional traits such as grit, growth mindset, self-efficacy, self-management, and social awareness.
We are committed to create a culture that is Family-Engaging. Numerous studies and research show that when families are involved and engaged, students do better. It is a fact that children look up to their parents and they emulate them in more ways we can imagine. BCI Marikina will be the strong support of helping the parents become role-models, knowing that good values are more caught than taught in the home.
Our teaching approach is modeled after the exemplary attitude demonstrated by a group of Christian Jews as recorded in the Bible. We call this The Berean Method. In Acts 17:10-12, the Bereans were described as “more noble” (mature & humble in character), they “received the word” being preached by the Apostle Paul “with all eagerness” (open minded & purposeful), “examining the Scriptures daily” to see if these things were so (intentional & consistent). Many of them therefore believed including women of high standing as well as men (without gender & social bias). Using the Berean Method, we aspire to build happier and highly motivated students because we apply integrated and interdisciplinary teaching methods where students work collaboratively with classmates, and where students and teachers have a mutually respectful relationship as learners and mentors.
