The BCI Blended Learning Program is the modified Teacher-led Learning Delivery Mode developed by BCI Marikina in order to pro-actively address the need to impart and Enhanced DepEd K-12 (BEC) Curriculum to our students from the Pre-School Level to the Senior High School Level, without compromising the IATF-imposed health and safety regulations under the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ), the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) and the New Normal scenarios.
Starting in Academic Year 2019-2020, BBLP learning delivery mode replaces the regular 5-day week face-to-face classroom learning delivery mode which was prescribed by the Department of Education prior to the COVID-19 global pandemic and to which BCI Marikina followed since its inception in 2015.
Under the BBLP, BCI Marikina crafted a program which will remain to be led and guided by our qualified BCI teachers using a combination of online, modular, remote, as well as face-to-face instructions depending on and suited to the environmental-community condition prevailing at certain points in time. The BBLP program contains both synchronous (online) and asynchronous learning opportunities via learning tools such as MSTeams, Modules, and pre-recorded video lessons.
